Guta Ra Jehova
Lesson 99

Matenga Go to Bulawayo

Matenga had been doing a very great work within the City .

Now the Bulawayo congregation came with their complaint before the Gwayana , asking to be visited, just as other places were being visited.

Their complaint was accepted by Matenga ; indeed, a journey was arranged.

This journey was praised, praised again, because it was known on earth and in heaven.

When the day arrived, Father said, “The journey is praised, my children.”

At once Father said, “Heaven has already prepared the warriors and soldiers.”

“Some of them should get ready to travel on this journey.”

The people had been told that they would depart from the City on Sunday.

Father said, “I will follow on Monday.”

On that Sunday morning, Mudivi came.

There was singing that was very awe-inspiring, and there was power that was very awe-inspiring.

Then, when the people had finished circling the Throne of Life,

Father stood up and said, “Today is the day of the Bulawayo journey.”

“Now I ask Father to escort his people until they reach that place.”

“And I also ask Father that, during this journey and there, there may be great miracles.”

“On this journey you were supposed to have your great miracle,” said the Gwayana as it gave the travel announcements.

At once it said, “The messengers of the journey, together with those remaining here in the City with Father who is here...”

“...and the messengers who are late there, let them come now.”

At that moment Matenga said, “It is now your time to depart.”

They stood up, their hearts full, circling the Divi .

They were true messengers, seated upon each and every person.

The people of Bulawayo—Mr. G. Gondo and Masendu, and others—had already raised money for people to board the train.

But the money was not enough for this whole congregation to go.

There were also some people who had a desire to testify to the truth of Matenga .

Those people boarded with their own money, saying in their hearts, “We want to witness for ourselves that this is the one who saved us from troubles.”

“We had no one to deliver us, but he came under the sun, and now we are worthy men and women.”

The people got onto Nkomo’s bus and were taken to board the train.

When they arrived at the station, they were given three carriages.

A great miracle of Jehovah : in these carriages, no one who was not from the City was allowed to board.

They were guarded by two Mabarani , I. Rusike and Makuwerere, from the City .

They were singing a song that came from Jehovah , “Lord , We Have Gathered, Bearer of All Things.”

The next day Matenga appeared to their people at Mudivi .

They said, “All of you are here; you must not leave here until I return from this journey.”

“But the City that remains is guarded by Jehovah .”

Now you left Evangelist John; he was the one left in the City , watching those who came, together with those who were sick.

These sick people were treated by the Gwayana through his help.

Then Matenga’s ship was about to depart from the City .

I saw people celebrating with their rattles, and some were sweeping the path.

Their celebration was, “Truly, Matenga is going to save our brothers and sisters.”

“They were burdened just as we once were.”

The driver of Matenga’s ship was Evangelist Chareka.

They set out early in the morning and arrived in Bulawayo in the evening.

That day Matenga rose up and performed a very great miracle in the land.

A great miracle: something great appeared, like a star.

It was shining with streaks, moving like an airplane.

It came from the east in the City and was seen by everyone in the land, from Mutare to Bulawayo.

It was seen by black people and white people; there was no one who did not see it.

And all the people who were on the Gwayana’s train saw it.

Indeed, this showed that Matenga had risen from the City , led by a star.

When it reached Bulawayo, it disappeared above Matenga’s house, which had been built by the City’s congregation there.

Matenga arrived at the home of Gondo, who was the leader.

After a short while, he was shown the place that had been prepared for the City .

He was then shown the house they had built for him; it was very impressive.

Matenga entered that ship.

Heaven and earth thundered; the town shook.

The people were singing powerfully; the great miracle that came out there was this:

All the people who were singing fell silent at the same time.

And the thunder of heaven and earth came down upon everyone; the people were like those struck by electricity.

Then the next day Matenga went to meet the magistrate and the elders of that town.

When they returned, those who had come by train also arrived that same day.

Now there was already a congregation that had been waiting to confess their sins before Matenga .

That place was being called the place of blood,

because people were being murdered there by local criminals.

Matenga said that the people of the City there were inhabited only by messengers.

Their conduct was very astonishing.
