Arriving Again at Her City
When Matenga returned from that journey on which she had been told by the Spirit, “Travel for a while and go to Chitsunge and Mutare.”
When she arrived at the City in Seke, the Spirit said, “There is no longer a place for you here.”
Matenga went to bid farewell to the district official of Goromonzi.
The district official said, “I will give you one and a half acres at the township.”
Matenga told her people accordingly.
But Father went to see that place, and he saw that it was very small.
When he returned, he said, “I have seen a fire in the City ; remove your belongings right now.”
“Fire! I have seen a fire in the City ; remove your belongings right now.”
The whole City was burned by a most awe-inspiring fire; no one extinguished it.
This was to fulfill what had been spoken by the Spirit while she was still in Mutare; and it happened just like that.
Two days after Matenga had arrived, the Spirit performed a work, saying, “Depart, the time has come.”
When the word came from the district official that the City would no longer be there, Matenga said to her people, “I am going to Murehwa this very day, I will not sleep here; you will remain in the care of Chihota and Village Head Kandawa. I do not know about Lord Seke.”
“I will sleep in Harare today, and tomorrow I go to Murehwa.”
