Thanking the District Official of Mutare

1 It happened that one day, Matenga went to give thanks for the place she had been given by the District Official of Mutare.

2 When she arrived at the office, she saw legal cases being brought in.

3 The Sergeant there dismissed some of the cases.

4 Matenga went inside and said,"I thank you for giving me such a place."

5 The Government said,"I am thankful that you are living well."

6 The District Official said,The District Official said, "Look at this letter; it says I want small drainage channels to be put in the City , so that water does not spoil your City , nor the timber and grass., nor the timber and grass."

7 He said,"I want to see your work progressing."

8 He said,He said, "Are you living well? I wonder if there are some people who are grumbling?if there are some people who are grumbling?"

9 "But we, the Government, are very happy with this settlement."
