The Second Laying on of Hands
When a person backslides into sin , whether at his home or at the City , he must go and see the scribe of the City and begin to confess again as a new person.
He begins to confess everything again; whether he sinned while in the City or at his home, he confesses together with the new ones.
The second confession shows a person who has backslid into sin for a second time.
But you, knowing the commandments, this is why the word of the Gospel does not reach those who still lust after worldly things.
For these are the things that prevent us from entering into Heaven so that we may go to the home of Jerusalem where milk and honey are eaten.
That is why Matenga was sent down; she is the one who came with the Holy Spirit which was brought down by her love .
The people who backslid are some of those who appeared as if they had finished.
They are those who still have charms and horns, who practice witchcraft, who still commit adultery, who still drink, and who still smoke tobacco; they are the ones who go to confess while thinking of worldly things, without having completely cast them away.
They are those who are later exposed by the Spirit when they backslide; once exposed, they are the ones who then become offended.
They are those who, when exposed by prophecy, say, 'Why was this done?'
Yet spiritual worship is not equal to that of the flesh.
It is the same with those who steal and those who associate with sin in the world; their end is to die and be cast away.
They are the ones who associate with traditional medicines and amulets.
Yet the things you confessed should not be repeated at all.
These are the things that cause the breaking of Matenga’s commandments.
Such a person has been led astray by demons and various alien spirits.
Demons and alien spirits show that they are the messengers of Satan ; they have no place in Heaven.
Their reward is in the pit of eternal fire, for they have no place in Heaven.
Now, shall we also die in these sins, or do we want to be saved?
We were blessed because we saw the way to go to Heaven, both we the old and the young.
For we were given a Redeemer who sets us free from all our sins; day and night there is no rest for her.
She says, 'Cry out for all our sins so that we may all enter the home together.'
Just as Jesus gave his life, so that all who believed might have eternal life.
Come, let us enter Jerusalem , where Matenga calls out.
Where there is holy food, which is eaten by those in Heaven.
And I who wrote this, it is not because of my own goodness, but to remind one another.
He who has ears, let him hear what is being said by Matenga in the City of God and the Gospel.
