The Suffering of the Father at Manyene
When they arrived at Manyene, the Father suffered greatly.
There was a house there, but they slept on the floor, until two men eventually bought a mattress for them to sleep on.
But the Father found no rest, and the hearts of others were deeply troubled.
But some were not moved by it; they were caught up in various things, and their hearts were not moved at all.
Blessed were those who were troubled in their hearts and meditated on Matenga’s hardship.
Now all the headmen of the land gathered there; some came from Mutare, Harare, Bulawayo, Chinhoyi, and Chipinge.
And from various other places, even white people came to see their Matenga .
There at Manyene, things became very difficult, and that is when some left the Father while he was suffering there and came to the City .
When they arrived there—to be told is to be deprived; those who know, know.
Some of them said, “The City is finished, why are you still lingering here?” And they said so out of ignorance, for it was thought that a mortal person was an easy matter.
When they returned and arrived back there at Manyene, it was very difficult.
Those from Bulawayo said, “We want to take Matenga ”; those from Chinhoyi said, “We are the ones who want to take Matenga .”
Then King Zimunya said, “It is up to Matenga herself to decide where she wants to go”; then others said, “Let her be taken to Nyamushanya’s place.”
Regarding that difficult question of where Matenga would go—it was as difficult as if she did not have her own home, Jerusalem .
Until it was said, “Let Matenga herself be asked where she wants to go.”
But the word said, “Only to Jerusalem , to Zimunya’s place.”
They eventually left Manyene and came to the City , arriving at the City at night, on Wednesday, 22nd June 1960.
While they were on the path, the Father said, “My children, sing Garments of Salvation .”
Then her face shone, and she said, “I am looking toward Jerusalem .”
When they arrived in the City , the whole City was filled with great joy.
May the Father bless these his words forever. Amen.
