The Great First Day of the New Year in the City of God

1 On the morning of the new year, on the very first day.

2 We woke up early singingWe woke up early singing "Jerusalem my homemy home".

3 We went around the whole City with our instruments, celebrating.

4 All the people were rejoicing in the new year; and we climbed the mountain.

5 On that mountain, each person was singing, having set their heart deeply upon it.

6 These people were presenting themselves to Jehovah , saying,"See, you saved me during this past year."

7 "You redeemed me from all the troubles that I had in the past year."

8 "But see, I am now here to exalt you, Matenga .."

9 Matenga came out dressed in white, going to the Mudivi .

10 Matenga says, this day is a very blessed day in the whole year.

11 The day was awe-inspiring to everyone in their heart.

12 Everyone was saying,Everyone was saying, "Matenga is merciful because I have seen the new year today. Amen.is merciful because I have seen the new year today. Amen."
