Matenga Is Placed at Chashamba Farm in the Land of Zvimba
When they took her, they went with Matenga to the farm at Chashamba in the land of King Zvimba.
At that farm, they placed her in a brick house that had corrugated iron sheets on its roof.
It belonged to a certain man of the City ; it was a house that had a partition inside it.
That farm was completely surrounded by a fence.
A gate was installed with a lock and a signboard, which had writing on it.
So that every person who wanted to see Matenga , upon arriving at that gate.
They would first see the lock and that writing, which said: “Call out, Sound a horn, or Ring the bell.”
When you did that, two men would come who would first see who it was.
When they saw you, they would go back to call Chagaresango and his companions.
When they arrived at that gate, if he wished, they would open for you, but if they did not wish, they would tell you to just go back.
Matenga stayed there for six weeks.
One day, Matenga vomited very strange things; they did not know what it was.
Then one named Chagaresango said, “When are you going?”
“Won't you tell me?” He took hold of her with his hands.
They forgot that she was awe-inspiring, or even to be familiar with her.
On another day, they took Matenga and went with her to Highfields.
They stayed overnight there, and they returned with her again to Chashamba.
But Matenga continued to be ill, just suffering.
Because of this, Matenga’s followers suffered greatly.
I, the writer, arrived there with Zengeni, Mushonga, and Shelton, but we were not permitted to see Matenga ; we returned just like that.
Hallelujah , let Matenga be praised; Mutumwagomo and Rosi suffered greatly.
They were the ones who looked after Matenga until her passing.
I say they did a very awe-inspiring work.
If they had not been there, I do not know what would have happened; we must thank them and honor them, to tell the truth .
They were the ones who prepared her food and washed her clothes.
They were the ones who looked after her in that house and prepared where she slept.
They just persevered until Matenga’s passing.
Now we are left as orphans in the flesh, but in the spirit, we have Matenga with us.
May she bless her words forever. Amen.
