The Magnitude of the Father’s Work in Bulawayo
People of God , the magnitude of Matenga’s work in Bulawayo was truly awe-inspiring when they remember it.
We are guilty before Jehovah if we do not follow the Father’s commands.
Now I saw white and black people being touched by the same hand, which showed no partiality, because it was Jehovah’s hand.
Whenever that hand touched a white person or a black person, if there was a wandering spirit or a demon, it would come out immediately.
During the performance of this work, thousands upon thousands came to see.
Among them, very many were converted, those who believed that this is Jehovah .
But those who were still possessed by those evil spirits remained as they were.
The black people who were touched on the head by the holy hand totaled eight hundred and twenty-five (825).
The white people who were touched on the head by the holy hand totaled one hundred and fifty-eight (158).
But among them, eight (8) were white ministers.
Among these white people, three (3) ministers were also possessed by demons.
Other white people were also possessed by demons.
The people who were clothed in heavenly sashes totaled one hundred and sixty-two (162).
Those who believed in what Matenga had done for them, being liberated in their lives, totaled twenty-eight (28).
Within this faith , there were eight women who were not following their cycles; but when the holy hand was placed upon them, they began to function as wives again.
In the first week, four thousand five hundred (4,500) black people and thirty-three (33) white people came.
In the second week, eight thousand (8,000) people and sixty-nine (69) white people came, it being Sunday.
One of these white people came from East London and was healed of his illness and recovered.
He thought of his wife who had died and said, “If I had known sooner and brought her here, she would be alive.”
These white people were very amazing; whenever they were prayed for, they also prayed, to show their faith before Matenga .
The people of Bulawayo had prepared plenty of food for the people.
Mr. Gondo, Mr. Maseko, and others of the congregation there did a very great work.
So the Gwayana said, “This was not their work alone, but they were already inhabited by the messengers of Heaven.”
They had prepared very many sacks of flour, five cattle, three sheep, two goats, ten chickens, a sack of sugar, and many other things which I have not written down.
My heart was deeply moved and I said, “How wonderful it is that they are serving their God , people of God .”
These people were working with one heart; they are blessed to know that this is the Creator . Meanwhile, charms and various medicines were being burned by the spiritual doctors of the City , James and Beta.
