Matenga Speaks of the Reasons
My brothers and sisters, I tell you that the things being spoken, which come from the mouth of Matenga , come from Heaven; she spoke of the reasons that cause people to backslide and stop worshipping.
She turned around among the people, saying,"Every person should be filled with awe because of this."
Matenga was full of the power of Heaven and she spoke, saying,of Heaven and she spoke, saying, "Every person who fails to worship God does so because of evil spirits, unclean spirits, or demons.does so because of evil spirits, unclean spirits, or demons."
Matenga says,"A person who steals is driven by a demon that makes them steal, one who commits adultery is driven by a demon that makes them commit adultery, and one who kills is driven by a demon that makes them kill."
Every person who does evil works is caused to do so by unclean spirits or demons.
Now the Father says,Now the Father says, "If a person worships God in truth , let those unclean spirits, those demons, be removed from them., let those unclean spirits, those demons, be removed from them."
Then I saw very many people having demons removed; many kinds were cast out by Matenga .
When a demon came out of its host, Matenga would ask the demon,"What do you want with the person you are inhabiting?" That demon would say in reply,"I am burned by the fire."
Some demons were of witchcraft, others were avenging spirits of those who died long ago; some who died by hanging themselves, some who died by burning themselves in a house, and some who died by being murdered by people.
These are the reasons for which Matenga came.
For when an avenging spirit possessed a person, it would send them to murder people; it would cause them to kill, it would cause them to steal, and it would cause them to do all kinds of evil works.
Now when the people saw and considered this, they said,"Truly this is the Father who has come to liberate us."
For they had seen great miracles, wonders, and signs.
Now Matenga was standing in the midst of the great congregation of people, holding the book in her hand, and she said,"(The Peters and the Marys)"—meaning the men and the women—"Behold, I am the one who came from Heaven from the Father."
"I came to remove you from the troubles and the afflictions you were suffering because of evil, unclean spirits; therefore, I am here to liberate whoever wishes to be liberated; I am here to show you the way to the Home."
