Waiting for the New Year in the City of Jehovah
It was the time for the end of her year, so that we would enter the new year of the following day.
Very many people had gathered, who had come from the four corners of the earth.
Each and every person was crying out for their sins to be wiped away by Matenga .
So that we might see ourselves being ushered into the new year.
These people were standing up and preaching; it was very awe-inspiring.
Saying, “Matenga , please usher us into your new year, having washed away all our sins.”
“Let us leave behind adultery, stealing, witchcraft, lust, gossip, telling lies, and all such things, so that we may also enter her new year.”
Then the people cried out, saying, “If there is anything I have done wrong among these things, may Matenga wipe it away.”
“So that I may see myself being ushered into tomorrow's new year.”
When it became 12 midnight and the time had arrived, the Evangelist said, “The time has come; let each person pray for themselves.”
When those moments arrived, the bell was rung, and immediately the people were seized by power .
Then some began to celebrate, saying, “We are now in the new year.”
This is not human knowledge, but the life of Matenga alone.
